In February 2012, an ad hoc sub group of the ETLG was formed to review and decide on next steps with regard to the ETLG recommendations. The members of this group include:

• Martin Brennan (UCLA)
• Jeff Henry (UCSD)
• George Michaels (UCSB)
• Jim Phillips (UCSC)
• Chuck Rose (UCSD)

• Pedagogical Issues - determine current pedagogical issues facing thought leaders on each campus, aggregate into a report for the ITLC (projected delivery date = March 2012). Last year's report revealed that campuses  expressed concern over funding and online courses.
• UC Online Education (UCOE) - The ETLG continues to provide support and advice to this initiative, also known as the Online Instruction Pilot Program (OIPP).
