IT Services will migrate spaces.ais.ucla.edu content to the Atlassian Confluence Cloud. Spaces will be in read-only mode after June 22nd.
Summary
In its second year of existence, real progress is taking hold on many fronts: the ETLG workgroups now formed have begun to meet and provide valuable reports and feedback; and the system wide OIPP initiative has sparked many discussions on our campuses concerning online instruction and topics related to hybrid learning. While the ongoing budget challenges have led to positive cross-campus discussions on consolidation, collaboration, and efficiencies, attrition has also taken its toll on our departments, resulting in increased workloads for those of our staff who remain. This in turn has impacted the amount of time and attention our staff can devote to systemwide analysis and planning.
Liz Gibson excellent leadership will be greatly missed as she steps down from UCD and the chair of the ETLG.
