Analytics Doc COVC Document - Action (Tom and Jenn) - Decided to move it to January 14-15 COVC meeting. This is most up to date document. Feedback requesting budget. Funding is for 18mo program. Past programs consist of PM and developer/evangelist.
Feedback UCLA - what is faculty involvement and what role are they playing in this proposed plan. Why is it coming from the ETLG?
Tom - this will be led by faculty and supported by ETLG.
Shohreh - People will want to know what they are paying for. Add appendix what does this money pay for and what do they get out of this? What are the deliverables?
Group - Perhaps this should be more of an FYI to COVC, not as much seeking permission. Campuses with funds can participate.
Mary Ellen to support writing. Items that need support: standards, infrastructure and vendor agreements.
Principles Document - Learning principles document. What are the learning principles. Feedback on next step and direction. goal focused, set of principals with third party. Audience is Senate committee on academic computing.
UCLA - Registrar and purchasing would have to weigh in.
Group - make these docs in poster session of Analytics summit, and get feedback.
Jim Phillips and David Levin - to work on poster proposal.
Tom to share with chair and vice chair.
Framework for discussion and the other is a principles vendor. ()data use and governance, second is data principals

Funding available for development for campus distribution. Per campus roadmaps and budgets. For anyone that is involved in design and development.
Large Hub, web services. Get/Send, Data security, encrypting transactions. Encrypting logs. APIs. Business rules framework support for campuses without (? are currently using).
