IT Services will migrate spaces.ais.ucla.edu content to the Atlassian Confluence Cloud. Spaces will be in read-only mode after June 22nd.
This page is intended to capture the deliverables from the following IAM Component subgroups:
WORKGROUPS and MEMBERS
1. Account Provisioning (Eric-UCSC, UCB-Jeff, UCSD-Matt)
2. Two Factor Authentication (Greg-LBNL, Russ-UCR, UCB-Dedra or Delegate)
3. Group Management (Chet-UCOP, Sury-UCSF, David-UCD)
4. Role Management (Albert-UCLA, Brian-UCM)
DELIVERABLES:
- Document the common need for the functionality (summary paragraph)
- List the common specifications/requirements for a product that would meet the stated need
- Compose a list of questions that might need to be asked of a vendor to determine viability (possibly used in an RFP)
- Perform a preliminary review of the options in the market place (not intended to be an exhaustive or detailed product search/analysis)
NEXT STEPS:
- Individual workgroup members need to sync up and establish:
- a point person
- establish a division of labor
- agree on how the group will collaborate (email, wiki, conf. calls).
- Establish a recurring conf call (recommendation is once every 2 weeks)
- Document all finding on Subgroup pages
- Provide an update at the next UCTrust call
