Purpose

The XpressConnect web based tool offers network administrators and wireless users the ability to configure a large variety of wireless supplicants quickly and consistently by pointing their browser at a URL, and providing a minimum amount of information such as username and/or password. The product promises to reduce the number of support calls from users having difficulty correctly configuring their device to gain access to the wireless network, as well as helping to insure that devices that do gain access are optimally and securely configured per administrator specification.

Deployment Options:

Web server, with XpressConnect loading via Java Applet, ActiveX or a manual download.

CD or USB flash drive.

Web Servers:

Windows Server 2000, 2003, & 2008 with Internet Information Services (IIS) running. Active Server Pages (ASP) support is recommended.

Linux (most distributions) with Apache or Tomcat. PHP or Java Server Pages (JSP) support is recommended.
