Here are some areas we are working on (to a greater or lesser extent) at UCSC that might be of common interest:

• Sakai 
• upcoming Matterhorn deployment
• Online instructor evaluations (via Sakai)
• OIPP
• Media streaming server
• Dealing with HD video projection in classrooms, especially dealing with HDMI/HDCP issues
• A better way to grade scantron-style multiple choice tests
• Accessibility efforts TBD (captioning video has been mentioned...)

Areas of interest to focus on - (from UCLA)

• IMS - Tools interoperability ( Math tools, video annotation tools, etc...)
• iTunes U and the Apple iTunes U Course Manager Pilots
• Mobile Learning
• Mobile Tools for collaboration
