Footnote 1, UC Merced: I included applicants for current application cycles.  Some overlap with current students because applicants who have SIR'ed for next semester are already counted as students.  We have expired applicants in our IDM system as well, which total 139,451 (only the past 2 years are in our LDAP directory). Any vendor charging on past applicant count would be untenable for us.
