Definition
The Enterprise Directory defines uclaOfficialEmailType as the person's choice of uclaOfficialEmail. Possible values are:
- uclaBOLEmail
- uclaBOLEmailAlias
- uclaLawSchoolEmail
- uclaAndersonSchoolEmail
- uclaWorkEmail
- uclaSharedSystemEmail
- uclaOtherStudentEmail
- uclaAlternateEmail
- uclaASUCLAEmail
Data Flow
This attribute is set by EDWS based on the designation of uclaOfficialEmail either by the choice of a user or programmatical enforcement of related university policies. The change of uclaOfficialEmail designation will trigger the change of value in this attribute. In some of the downstream systems that retrieve email information from the Enterprise Directory, the value is recognized as an integer number mapped as below:
- uclaBOLEmail - 1
- uclaBOLEmailAlias - 2
- uclaLawSchoolEmail - 6
- uclaAndersonSchoolEmail - 5
- uclaWorkEmail - 4
- uclaSharedSystemEmail - 8
