IAMUCLA Server Updates on May 3, 2009
Everyone,
On Sunday, May 3, 2009, AIS plans to apply a number of critical operating system level patches on various servers supporting IAMUCLA services. Much of the patching process will be transparent to end users. However, there will be a brief interruption to ISIS and Shibboleth from 8:15 to 8:35 AM as the critical databases are patched. The following is a schedule of events:
May 3, 2009 1:30 AM - 2:30 AM

Work: Content Services Switch software update.
Impact: User may experience isolated anomalies while the services fail over to back up devices.
May 3, 2009, 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM
-------------------------------
Work: OS patches to ISIS web and database servers.
Impact: ISIS and Shibboleth will be unavailable from 8:15 AM to 8:35 AM as key database servers are patched.
